Opening Day in Atlanta

So normally I just take a couple hundred pictures of an event and that covers the basics, occasionally I'll break a thousand if it's something special. Well for the opening day of Ga Tech football I took over 20,000 pictures which made up a 20+hr time lapse of the big day!

The video starts around 4am and continues well after the game is over, this turned out amazing and is well worth your 9min to watch. Oh, and it's in HD!

Shattered

Sometimes in your life you find your ideals and beliefs shattered, that didn't happen to me. But what did happen is I broke a light bulb!

I do feel however that my views on certain things are changing, I feel like photography is becoming even more of my life than it was before, so that means even more pictures! Which will hopefully lead to more posts.

Anyway this lightbulb was dropped on a small rock to ensure it would break, I missed the exact breaking point but it still looks cool.

I hope you enjoy!

WinShape Camps C3 summer 2011

I've been working this awesome day camp all summer that's done by the WinShape foundation (the nonprofit side of Chick-fil-a). I can't post all the pictures I've taken as the photographer for the Blue team here, but I can post a link. See them all Here

[UPDATE: The pictures have now all been taken down so the link is dead]

I don't have my camera :(

So, I'm back at Tech after the holidays but I don't have my camera. Sad, I know. We even got the largest snowfall Atlanta has gotten in,  I think, recorded history. That's not that much snow for you folks up north but for down here it meant that school was cancelled for three days. Georgia Tech hadn't cancelled school for a single day since 1994 and we got out for 3. Anyway it was kinda a big deal. But I didn't get to capture any of it because I didn't have my camera.

The reason I didn't have my camera was because I was moving dorm rooms and I basically had to show up at Tech without a place to stay for a night and so I wanted to be able to move everything quickly and not have too much baggage. I will however, get my camera soon and then the pictures shall return.
